Can Limestone Be Used in the Kitchen or the Bathroom?

Without a doubt! For centuries, European countries have used limestone for floors and countertops, so there's no reason why you can't! It is a good idea to apply the appropriate stone sealer and reapply as needed to minimize stains. Limestone will etch if food acids come into contact with it, so use a cutting board in the kitchen and wet the counter to dilute any acidic liquids. When you're finished, make sure to wipe down the area. Darker limestone will show more etches, so you may want to test them before purchasing.
